Greg Hastings’ Tournament Paintball 2 Hits in 2009
November 14th, 2008 by Scott
Greg first thought of creating an authentic paintball game in August 2006. I had the good fortune that he called me the same day. Together with partners along way, including the other leading paintball players, teams and manufacturers, we were able to make Greg Hastings’ Tournament Paintball a fast and fun game.
The first GHTP game launched on Xbox in 2004. No one else expected much, but we had a good feeling the game would do well after seeing paintball players and some leading gamers battle each fanatically in game testing. Zyos, the two-time Halo World Champion, was in on some epic battles (one resulted in a $500 cash bet on Greg’s team to beat Zyos’ team). We were excited to hear Zyos and other tournament gamers say they enjoyed the speed and skill required to win. It wasn’t just a random, run and shoot game. In fact, Zyos said it was one of the best shooters he had played. As a way of featuring actual gamers, not just magazines or websites, we even put a quote from Zyos on the back cover. That was probably the first time a gamer has ever had a quote on a game cover.
Our team is all about listening to what gamers want in their games. The epic battles between gamers and paintball players, and their feedback and input, epitimozes what we are all about. We look forward to ideas, criticism and high fives from gamers and paintball players as we move forward with Greg Hastings’ Tournament Paintball 2. No doubt, there will be some new epic battles between gamers and paintball players, with plenty of side bets.
In the past, we have flown in gamers and paintball players to test the game and give us their feedback. We look forward to having a few of you come check it out for yourselves. We will post more information on the game as we move ahead. Get ready to battle!

Bugs Fixed - PC Delayed for Testing
July 9th, 2008 by Scott
We are grateful for the strong interest in the PC game. Believe me, we read the posts, emails and listen to the phone calls.
Most importantly, we want to ship the highest quality game possible. After launching the Xbox 360 version, some bugs were brought to our attention through the forums. Our team has listened to forum members, and we have been able to fix the bugs. Many of these bugs relate to the PC game as well.
Before launching the PC game, we want to have a third party company do some rigorous testing of the fixed bugs and the game. Many times when you fix one bug, you create another one.
The testing shouldn’t take more than 3-4 days max, but we never know for sure. We also need to confirm a spot with our manufacturer to replicate the discs and assemble the games. If all goes well, the game will be on the shelf in July. We’re doing everything to make that happen.
Yes, this also means we will have a patch coming out for the Xbox 360 game. All patches must be sumbitted to Xbox for their approval, so the timeline for patch availability is more difficult to project.
Sorry to disappoint, but this means the game will be improved.

Hi Richard,
Thanks for your email. We have looked into the problem and found a bug with that achievement. We will address this issues in an upcoming patch. For now, the 50 pot achievement can only be obtained in multiplayer games.
Hope this helps,
Laurent Coulon
